what is com.apple.mobiledeviceupdater.plist

Proton Drive Genius alerted me that a new item appeared in LaunchAgents: com.apple.mobiledeviceupdater.plist.

Running OS X 10.13.5

What is this?

Do I have a problem?

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.5), I am updating to 10.13.6

It's a property list for a service that notifies you when mobile devices you plug into your Mac need a software update.

Don't worry about it, it's a normal part of macOS.
