Have been using Kerio Connect for the last 10 years.
Now I am looking for a different mail server to run on MacOS on-premises.
It needs Open Directory integration. It needs to support 50 users with high storage requirements.

Apart from the above Communicate Pro may be of use although I'm not sure how well it integrates
I would go smartermail. But it’s not supported to run on OS X.
How about using the mail server that comes with OS X server itself?
Mail server is scheduled for deprecation from MacOS server.
Smartermail does not support Open Directory.
