install root certificate authority

We have an internal Windows Root CA server and a secondary CA server. We have exported the certificates from both of these servers. When we try to install the certificates on a Macbook, the root CA certificate shows up as an "Intermediate certificate authority" instead of a Root certificate. What do we need to do to get this certificate to show as a "Root certificate authority"?

So I cannot visit all Government sites in the Netherlands... The specific certificate (although the latest update with enddate 2028) is not listed in my key chain. Developer certificates not going to "My Certificates" I have downloaded a Wallet certificate from my apple developer area and when I import it into my KeyChain it doesn't appear under "My Certificates". As a consequence, when I try to export it as a p12 certificate, I don't get the option, it's greyed out, as it is just a single certificate and doesn't include my signing request. I've seen a similar post Developer certificates not going to "… - Apple Community and have tried rebooting several times but it doesn't make any difference. I have recently upgraded to Catalina.
