How can I stabilize the video in a live photo?

I like to take Live Photos with my iPhone X, but sometimes the video is a bit shaky. How can I stabilize it in Photos? I could export the video component and edit it in iMovie, but I would like to keep the photo as a Live Photo.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

In Photos 3.0 this is simple. If you go to Edit Mode and set the Live Photo to loop or to bounce (whatever is better for the video clip), Photos will stabilise it, if the video is not jittering too badly. I am looping most of my Live Photos just for this purpose.

Alternately, you can export the Live Photo as an original and edit the video component in iMovie, then reimport it and sync it to your iPhone. Use an app, for example Into Live, to make a new Live Photo from the stabilised video clip.
