Suppously iphone has ip67

Many friends who have iphone X said that they must to pay for fix the device, but if it has ip67, the warranty is for 30 min under the water, many of them was an accidente in the shower, bowl with water or something like that, pay a 1000 or more for a phone that suppously is water resist, come on, we don’t have any warranty. Apple must to cover everything if them offer a device with ip67, no the customers, if would be in this way, I think is preferly have another device like galaxy, they cover everything, huawei, Sony, Motorola, etc, their ip67/68 works perfectly and they cover if has a problem. Bad for apple.

I think there is a lot of confusion about the IP67 rating. This site describes the rating, http://www.resourcesupplyllc.com/PDFs/WhatDoesIP67Mean.pdf, but in the note at the bottom it says that an “environmentally sealed pocket PC” is rated at IP67. An iPhone or an iPad is not environmentally sealed as I would understand it. Therefore, an idevice is not capable of withstanding water immersion. So, I think people see the IP rating and think that a phone can be used under water without reading the fine print.
