Malwarebytes eliminate on iMac

On either the download or add-on page, I dragged Malwarebytes to trash. How do I actually eliminate the total program from my iMac? Please give me elementary directions. i.e. if you direct me to the Library, how do I get there?

(It drives me nuts to have the program icon there and how it informs me that I can update by buying it instead of using the free version.) iMac running OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 I realize bits and pieces of the downloaded program are lingering somewhere in the deepest recesses of the computer but am ignorant of where it lurks.

Thank you to any and all who reply.

It says:

If you wish to remove Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, as well as the helper tool and all data and settings files, simply open Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and choose Uninstall Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from the Help menu.

That's the help menu in the Malwarebytes application itself, not in the browser.

Click on finder > Go > computer > Macintosh HD > library > application support > malwarebytes

See this screen shot .It's your choice to use uninstaller for a software / application , perhaps for an app ( the name could be any ) , some folders are manually searched in system library and user library , the files related to them , even .plist are removed from preferences folder .For malwarebytes paid version the file names might be different .

I found the documentation page, thanks to you, and see preferences to deactivate. However all instructions refer to downgrading a Premium license. I think I shall see if the Firefox toolbar has a way to eliminate the M symbol or else when it asks if I want to upgrade to paid program, I understand there is a Close window/message/ad I can hammer.

Thanks for the driving instructions to find the library system. There is no folder called application support > folder for Malwarebytes.

The previous post idea by Limnos is to reinstall the program and then use the removal item in the application's own help menu to properly uninstall it. I'll betcha that option exists for the paid version of the program. The remnant seems to be the icon on whatever the line is called at the tippy top of screen which also includes Firefox, file, edit, volume control, date. When I click on settings, it says there is no app set to open the URL.

I do think I'll live with the icon pleading me to "update" by forking over money for the fancier version instead of the free version.
