Increase font size on 27 inch Mac

Hi,

Has anyone come up with new solutions since the last posting to this thread? I love the sharp retina resolution of my new iMac screen - so I don't like the idea of mucking with that. But - the font size is suddenly so small and hard to read. Has High Sierra given us a way to change that across the board?
