Apple Watch not pairing with phone to no avail.
My Apple Watch wasn’t connecting. I reset and now trying to repair to no avail. Even manually pairing the phone won’t recognize the watch?
Had you updated the watchOS when you updated the iPhone? There is a new watchOS, and usually if you attempt to pair a phone with the latest iOS to a watch that can be updated to the latest watchOS, it usually prompts you to update the watchOS first. However, you should see a prompt on the Watch to update the watchOS, and it should temporarily connect to the phone to allow you to download and update the watchOS. It has only happened once to me, but like I said, when I attempted to pair, there was a warning/error on the phone saying it had to update watchOS first before pairing. If you don't get that, then you may have to wait until you return so you can make a Genius Bar appointment for help in pairing. If you go anywhere near Minneapolis-St. Paul, I know there is an Apple Store there.
