Video playback triple time in Safari

Hello wondered if someone could help. I'm running a late 2015 Imac with High Sierra.


Recently all videos that im playing back in safari be they youtube or embedded are playing fast forward to the end. I then have to restart the video to watch it. Sometimes if I try and skip a bit it does the same fast forwarding to the end.

Have also noticed that this is happening with iTunes movies and TV shows.


I have recently migrated my MacBook pro to this computer.


Any ideas or suggestions?

IMAC (RETINA 5K, 27-INCH, LATE 2015), iOS 11.4.1

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor.
