ipod won't connect to itunes

I have an iPod, it's old, but it functions. I recently updated my computer to Windows 10 and found my itunes library gone. I restored the old library from a few months ago, so everything looks back to normal for the most part. Now when I plug in my ipod, it isn't recognized in itunes. It's recognized by the computer, it just won't show up in itunes. Itunes is up to date, my computer is up to date. When I go to device manager, and right click to update driver, it is up to date. When I check Disk Management, it has been assigned a letter. I've tried different cords, even different iPods (same style, super old). Is it a Windows 10 issues? Is this baby just too old? It worked until I updated my computer.
