My MacBook Pro 2018 version speakers are crackling.

Hello. A few days ago I got the new MacBook Pro 2018 15in version. I’ve noticed since yesterday that my MacBook Pro speakers were crackling randomly. I’m not sure if since this is a new release that there are bugs in the software or if it’s an actual defect. Because before yesterday, I haven’t experienced this issue. I resetted the NVRAM and did a diagnostics test with no issues. After about 10 minutes of use that’s when it does it. Then stops. I think I might hopefully but not hopefully have to get it replaced since it’s under the warranty still. I did nothing to it. So this is dissapointing to me.

Does Apple have update on this? My macbook pro has similar issue after playing video game and never come back to the original sound. Any software update can solve this?

If it’s less than a month you can ask for a refund. Take the box with you.

I too am having this same problem. However, I only notice it after streaming on Spotify after thirty to forty minutes. Bought a 2018 MBP 13" 2.3GHz Intel Core i5, 8GB Ram, 256GB.

I have this same problem too since 3 month. At the moment, only, when I use Spotify after many minutes on a 2018 iMac Pro.

I noticed that plugging in headphones, and unplugging it helps sometimes

Just swap it. It's not affecting everyone. I have a 2018 MBP 15" and have never experienced crackling speakers. I play music and watch YouTube vids on it every single day.
