iphone x hard reset not working
Just got my new iphone x a week ago, and for some reason, it just went black screened when i was using animoji, ios 11.4.1 and i have tried hard reset and it is unresponsive.

If your "hard reset" means "Force Restart", and you did the following steps to perform that procedure (it's not so easy, maybe you have to try again), it should work:
Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then, press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo. When it appears, release both buttons, wait for your iphone to restart, then test it.
If you get no help, since that device is still on warranty, have it inspected at your most convenient Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider; Apple - Find Locations - Location Selector
