problems with update 10.13.6?

If you are having problems with an app because of incompatibility with High Sierra I suggest you discuss the issue with the app distributor/developer. Before upgrading an operating system you should always check whether or not an app you are using will remain compatible.

You see problems with everything here. Much like going to the ER of a hospital most only sick folks. Millions of users have no issues and go merrily on their way and never visit these forums.

There's nothing wrong with the 10.13.6 update that I know of. I can't tell you about Steam as I don't use it.

Apple did not develop macOS High Sierra explicitly for game playing, and if there are issues with Steam, they have had far long enough to fix issues with the games that they plan to continue support.

I am not a game player, and for me, macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 is working perfectly for me on my iMac.

Got Wifi issue after combo update (from 10.13.4 to 10.13.6).

After restart (through command line or with .pkg) the wifi is off any impossible to turn on. Then if I re-apply the update once more the problem get solved.

Happened on 15 computers out of 40 MacBookAir... This doesn't seems to appear when updating through AppStore but it's painful to connect to each computer separately... So I apply combo update twice.

I'm having the same issue with my MacBook air. My wi-Fi is not turning on, and I also have issues with my battery. It is impossible to know How much charge I have left.

How do I do the upgrade without being connected to Internet?

Well with another computer search for: 10.13.6 combo update download

You will get direct download on Apple website.

Take the pkg or dmg to your computer and run it.

I haven’t found another way to turn WiFi back on. Or if you have a Ethernet to usb concerter you may connect a cable (got one from my Wii I was fortunate for that)

I have charging issue with the update. It has no problem with factory charger but with belkin express dock and Chinese 85w charger, they charge so slow thus battery drains duringn use.I am sure they were all fine before update. OWC TB3 dock charges ok.

The allow/disallow pop ups check box is no longer under "security" in the Safari preferences. Just gone. And no clue as to where it went, or if it was just inadvertently left out, or eliminated for some obscure Apple motivation/decree. I am a flight instructor running a flight school and need to allow pop ups to use the FAA site required to sign up students before they can start training.

After upgrade I cannot longer run CS:GO, Left4Dead2 and other games.

Also I saw a lot of issues with other games.
