Bluetooth is Not Available on my MacBook after the latest Sierra 10.13.6 update

Hi anyone out there having similar issues? My bluetooth availability is completely greyed out. I have googled and the steps mentioned in the article below with no luck. Any suggestions please?

Hello, beljeet.

It's my understanding that after updating your MacBook, Bluetooth is no longer working. I do have some additional steps for you that may help. Try seeing if the Bluetooth will work in a test user account and safe mode. This could help narrow things down:

How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac

Well, the answer for me a short while ago was to reset the SMC and then reset PRAM. Before I did that I threw the com.apple.bluetooth plist file in the trash (locate in ~/Library/Preferences) and emptied the trash and then rebooted. That didn't have the desired result like it did on a previous occasion so I resorted to resetting the SMC and PRAM. All good now.
