How do I download an app on X phone

i am unable to download apps to my iPhone X. A double click sign appears to the left off my screen which I cannot click. This happens when I activate the GET button on the app. Help!!!

Did you double click the button on the right side of your

iPhone where the screen indicates? You need to double

click the button opposite the volume switch not tap on

the screen itself.
