2017 Macbook Pro, wifi shuts disconnects every half hour to an hour.
Hello,
Relatively seasoned apple user - about 8 years or so, and never had an issue I couldn't figure out with due research until now, so here I am with this:
I'm running a 2017 Macbook Pro with:
------------------------------------------------
Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro14,1
Processor Name: Intel Core i5
Processor Speed: 2.3 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 8 GB
Boot ROM Version: MBP141.0175.B00
SMC Version (system): 2.43f6
Serial Number (system): ****
Hardware UUID: ****
------------------------------------------------
The title says it all really but I'm confused. The wifi doesn't cut off intermittently for any other device in the house. Only this one. It's an issue I've had for several months now and my patience is running thin.
Please hear me out when I say I tried the preliminary troubleshoots. Flush DNS, deleting and re-adding the connection via System Preferences -> Network, power cycling the modem, wireless diagnostics showed nothing, everything had no effect.
What could be the issue?
Appreciate any inputs, thanks in advance.
