Bluetooth hardware unavailable since update to High Sierra

I updated my Macbook to High Sierra a couple of hours ago. The bluetooth hardware is unavailable since then. I tried resetting the SMC, rebooting, deleting the plist. Nothing has worked! It was perfect before updating. If I go to the System Report and click on bluetooth, it says 'no information available'. I can't seem to find anyone else with the same problem. For most people, the bluetooth problem after updating to High Sierra was erratic. Mine isn't detecting any hardware since it was rebooted after the update. Please help!

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, Rauhit.
If I understand your post correctly, since updating you aren't able to connect to Bluetooth. I'd like to help.
Safe mode will tell us if the issue is related to a startup item or plugins, and sometimes corrects the issue. This article will tell you how: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac
If everything is working correctly in safe mode, but is not working when you get back to your user account, please check the section titled "If an issue doesn't happen in safe mode" for the next troubleshooting steps.
If the issue continues while in safe mode, a test user will let us know if the issue is isolated to your account, or system wide: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac. If the issue happens in the test user also, then please check the section titled "If an issue happens in more than one user account."
Let us know if that resolves this issue for you.
Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. Take care.

Hi Sterling!

Thank you for your reply. So I spent the entire day chatting with apple support and trying to fix the issue. I did the following:

1. Boot into Recovery Mode, Run Disk Utility and Select First Aid.
2. Reinstall the update through Recovery Mode.
3. Boot into safe mode and then check hardware.
4. Run the diagnostic.

Nothing seems to work! I guess my only option is to take it to a service centre.

Hi leroydouglas!

Thanks for the reply, but I tried it and it doesn't give me those options. It doesn't detect the Bluetooth hardware anymore! Even when I use the said combination of keys and clicl on it, the only unclickable option I get is 'Bluetooth: Not Available'. Also, my bluetooth icon looks different on the menu bar. It has a zig zag line with the actual bluetooth logo hardly visible.

Looks like a hardware failure.

If > (option key) System Info>Hardware>Bluetooth is not recognized there is nothing you can do but take it in:
