I inadvertently downloaded Any Searchmanager which I have now got rid of but since then, even though the General settings are correct and set to a homepage of Google.co.uk, Safari opens with a blank page.
I have set new tabs to open displaying Google and they work correctly.
How can I set the home page to display google

Try changing New windows opens with to Homepage.
anything in system preferences > profiles ?
run the free malwarbytes scan and remove anything left from the removal and try again
New windows open with Homepage?
Its not locked.
I can change the homepage to another address and it still does not display it but the new address will be displayed in new tabs.
