iphone avable in Republic of Moldova?

I want to bye a new iPhone 8 plus from official website apple.com.

My friend work now in USA and in September return th Republic of Moldova and can to delivery for me the new phone.

My question is if i shop a new iPhone from USA the phone and network will work in Republic of Moldova? Phone is compatible with Republic of Moldova phone network: Orange?

As long as it's an unlocked iPhone it seems it should work without problems in Moldova: https://willmyphonework.net
