Plug-in to stretch, warp, liquify?

Hello. I'm wondering if anyones aware of a plug-in for FCE that will allow a person to "stretch" part of a still or videoclip similiar to the way that Photoshops liquify tool allows you to alter/stretch part of an image? Thanks.

Actually, there is one Motion feature that I would like: the ability to stretch an image vertically. I have two current projects consisting of stills recording a scene which changes every few days or weeks. The stills are displayed in sequence with a dissolve or wipe transition. (An example is a country scene showing seasonal changes.)

Although each still is taken with the same camera in the same position and always at the full wideangle setting, I need to adjust the Scale and Rotation slightly in Viewer > Motion tab.

I also need to change the scale either vertically or horizontally (why I don't know) to get accurate superposition of the various objects in the scene. The only way that I can find to do that vertically is to reduce the Aspect Ratio and then increase the Scale, each to the degree necessary. A Vertical Scale feature would be easier and more accurate. (Of course, I can do that in Photoshop, but Photoshop is not suited to accurate superimposition of the type that I need.)

I will put it to Apple as a Wish.

Thanks for the response. I'm not too experienced with FCE but are'nt the distort effects in FC applied to the whole still/video clip? I'd like to distort/stretch only a select area of the still/video clip in a controlled way (similiar to the "liquify" tool in photoshop). For example.....if I have a clip of several people walking and I wish to distort only 1 person in a particular way through the scene.....is this possible with FCE's distort effects?

Regarding..."No video editing application can do this"
Thanks for responding.I suspected I would'nt be able to do this just with FCE ....which is why I was wondering about a plug-in in my original question. After speaking with a friend, it sounds like my options are to go the image sequence route as you suggested or to use another application such as AfterEffects. Thanks.
