HomePod won't recognize my name as a room

Hello everyone,

I have been a fan of the HomePod since day 1 I stayed up all night to pre-order it. I had small hiccups during usage like the HomePod wouldn't control my accessories, etc. My issue now is, when I tell my HomePod "Hey Siri, turn on Rayan Light" (Rayan being my name), Siri replies with "I don't see a speaker called light." This bothers me now since it used to work before, then worked for a day while broken, and broke it's self again. The apple support agent on the phone only offered that I change my HomeKit room's name to "My". Since I have a smart home and plan to expand my room with more HomeKit accessories I wish it would recognize my name. (Siri recognizes "Rayan" as a room on the iPhone/ iPad/ Apple Watch/ Apple TV/ and my Mac. If it helps my name is pronounced (Ray) [Like sun ray] (on) [Ray-on]. But spelt Rayan.
