WiFi intermittent since iOS update 11.4.1

Since updating my iPhone 6s with the new update 11.4.1 the WiFi connection lags out frequently. I have tried the forget network settings and reset but it’s still happening, very frustrating to say the least. The only way I can rectify it is by turning the WiFi off on my phone until it goes to 4G then turn the WiFi back on! Is anyone else having this problem since the update and what is the likelihood that Apple will actually resolve it!!!?????? 😬

WiFi slow and inconsistent on my new iPhone 12 Wifi is slow and inconsistent on my new iPhone 12. I’ve tried every possible way to fix this issue with no success - Resetting network settings, disconnecting and reconnecting to WiFi, disable WiFi in settings, manual DNS, disable private address option, forget this network option, rebootin the device, restarting the router etc. Often seems to be working normal just after rebooting the device, but after a short period of time it’s starting to get worse and inconsistent again. I’m really not happy now.

iphone 11 wifi keeps turning off iphone 11 keeps dropping wifi connection (like every few minutes), although two apple computers and another iphone in same house do not. tried using a different router and resetting wifi settings on phone, but problem persists. I can turn wifi off and on again and it will reboot...and then drop shortly thereafter. kind of annoying...
