I can't find a device that I accidentally forgot. I have tried resetting my Network Settings. It didn't work.
Then I tried Reset All Settings & it froze. I'm getting really frustrated with Apple products. These issues shouldn't be that difficult to remedy .

1. Make sure the earbuds are not connecting to another device with Bluetooth.
2. Be sure you have put your earbuds into pairing mode.

When I would try to bluetooth connect to a pair of earbuds (that I accidentally hit the option to 'forget device' on my iPhone a few days ago) my phone would continually search for nearby devices, and I would not have an option to connect to them. It has happened with a couple of devices (speakers mainly), but those eventually connected, my earbuds would not. Sorry if this is too confusing. Thanks.
Was someone from Apple the one who forgot the unnamed device?
What is the device that you forgot? I'm not good at guessing.
