30GB of mystery media crushing iPad storage

I have an 64GB iPad Air. I have zero movies, zero music and zero TV shows downloaded. iPad Storage in settings shows 53.7GB of 64GB used with about half of it shown in blue as Media. I have a flight chart app that is 4GB which is using the most space. Then 2.41GB in Photos and 2.16GB for a magazine app. After that there are apps adding up to no more than maybe 8 GB. What in the world is going on? I've tried hard restarts, syncing, deleting and reinstalling apps. Nothing works. I need to find a way to recover this storage space that is occupied by the mystery Media.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

My iPad had run out of storage space, checked space, all apps and data was less than 4GB plus system came to under 10GB missing over 20, listed as media!

Having checked various posts about unknown Media using up space I couldn’t find an answer, noticed General - about was showing 4 videos, found these as watched rentals listed in TV app. Deleted and reinstalled app, had 20GB plus of space back. Hope this is of help.

Try to delete the TV App and then reinstall it.

I had nothing in the app and all my rentals were expired and deleted. I had about 30GB sitting in the mysterious "media" section and I couldn't figure out where it was sitting.

After doing this, I got back 30GB. It reduced the "media" and "other" storage.
