Facebook app crashing

This is the Apple advice If an app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open - Apple Support which I believe you have tried. I don't use Facebook but is it possible to "sign out" and delete your account from the device within the App settings, if so do that then delete App and restart device. Download App again, open, sign back in with your login and password under settings and see what happens.

Can't think of anything else other than contact the developer, this has happened in the past and the only fix then was a developer update, so you might have to wait for that.

It just means try removing the Facebook App from your device, restart the device then go and download the Facebook App again from the "App Store". The whole deletion process not only removes the App itself but any associated data files which could be the cause (I thought anyway) of the issue.

It also makes sure you have the latest Facebook App version which may not happen if you just rely on the Update process (it can sometimes fail).

You could try to “Force Restart” your device, failing that delete app and then redownload from the App Store, the delete also removes the app data which may be behind your issue.
