Refresh folder on Mac os

Hi. I am having trouble refreshing my network folder on Mac OS. Can anyone help me with this?


In windows i can just hit F5 and new files will show up in my network folder, but in Mac OS i don't see any options similar to F5. It only happens on network folder.

There isn't an option. It should just update as soon as it changes.

I think the only thing you can do if it doesn't update is to close it and re-open it.


This seems like a possible solution, but I'm not sure how slow it might be if there are lots of items in the window:

lion - Is there a way to refresh a Finder file listing? - Ask Different

Also note the comment about making it an Application.
