Ibooks on windows PC

Can anyone actually confirm there is NO way now to purchase books from a windows PC. I do NOT want to read them on PC, or manage them on PC, simply browse and purchase them...

I was forced into latest itunes update, now ibooks is no longer available to browse, or purchase.

The ibooks app on ipad is nearlly useless at browsing, slow to load, clunky and loses memory and forces reloads when changing search criteria. Ergo, it is much quicker and reliable to search and purchase books using PC itunes.

If this is true, I strongly suspect many customers will be looking elsewhere for a better solution.

This is the most stupid decision I have ever seen by what must be poor management.
