Apple CompressorKit.ErrorDoamin error -1

I am so hoping you can help me?

I am making an iMovie of our mission trip for everyone too see what we did in Haiti.

When I try to "share" the movie to a flash drive, I get this message:

The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomain error -1.

I restarted the computer.

And then opened in "safe mode," shut down, and reopened in regular mode.

But it still doesn't work.

It burns about 1/3 of the beginning of the movie onto the flash drive (which has enough space for the movie), but won't share the whole movie.

Please help!!??

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Hi,

Possibly your flash drive is formatted FAT 32, a Windows format that has a 4GB maximum file size. Back up your data on the flash drive to another disc, then reformat it to MAC OS Extended (Journaled) using the Disk Utility app in the Utilities folder on your Mac. See if you can share your movie to the reformatted flash drive. Be aware that reformatting a drive erases all data on it, so you do need to first back up elsewhere any data that you want to save. If you don't want to keep any of the data then you don't need to worry about it.
