Hello all,
Since yesterday I have a very strange problem: my Macbook freezes just before login to a session and / or after 5 seconds of mouse inactivity.. The only thing possible is a force stop, and it restarts again when I turn it on.
I tried basic procedures.. nothing is working to solve the problem.
Maybe somebody have the answer here ?

Try an SMC and NVRAM reset. The latter is related to display resolution among other things.

Safe mode prevents startup items and login items from opening automatically so in case the problem lies there, remove all your login items by going to System Prefs / Users & Groups / Login items and test again.
You mention "mouse activity." Is that the cursor movement when you use the trackpad or are you using a mouse?

Thanks for your quick reply.
I rebooted and installed again the OS with the Command-R. But still freezing as soon as my mouse stops.
Also just noticed that when I connect it to an external display, the problem is (for the moment) not appearing as well as when I'm in safe mode.

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.
