Let's see if that happened to others around, or wait for a prospect update which can fix that.

You can leave feedback to Apple at https://www.apple.com/feedback/ but there are no "bug reporting" feature as such for released versions.

And if it's really inconvenient, make an appointment with Apple at Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple

So what I have discovered, by chance, is that my iPhone X running iOS 11.4.1 turns off the "Set Time Automatically" and the phone defaults to 4 hours earlier; happened again last night but I didn't have an alarm set. I awoke and looked at the phone plugged in on the nightstand to see what time it was and it was 4 hours earlier. I confirmed the correct time, opened the Data & Time settings and found that the set time automatically was switched off. I am the only one with access to the device and I have no other apps running that require access (or running at all).

This would appear to be a bug.

I was also woken up after a 2 hour sleep.

My wake time as set for 06.30 here in Vietnam but actually I was Out if bed, still very tired and only saw after a minute at was 6 hours early. (Time difference between NL and Vietnam).

I do think it was caused by being on airplane mode while is switched off auto time zone allowing me to set Hi Chi Min time.

This so that it was easier for me to see the remaining flying time.....

Then at night I did activate my alarm time but it seems to me these are two different applications in the back not communicating zone differences when auto zone is switched off.

Strange to see me being put on my feet in the middle of the night, so be in for a surprise in case you decide not to switch on auto time zone.

Having read about the auto change the time zone switch, I have no knowledge of time zone being auto changed as I did this myself, this is what happened to me and think our problems are related, I hope it is fixed soon.
