iPhone 8 - removing scratches using Displex Glass Repair Polish

Hello,

I have iPhone 8 since January 2018. I returned from my vacations and noticed some micro scratches on a top of screen like a sand crystal got under my flip cover from UAG. I do not use any glass on my phone because I do not like it - only flip cover. This scratches are only visible under light. I read about Displex Glass Repair Polish and also contacted them about their product. This product apparently removes some scratches from phone display.

I asked them for a few details via email:

Dear Jakub,

thank you for your mail and the interest on our product glass repair polish.

1. Is it save to use it on iPhone 8? I read a lot that it is dangerous to polish iPhone 8 screen.

Yes it is save, follow the instruction manual.

2. Will it remove micro scratches from my display? I suspect that they are on oleophobic layer. Will it remove this layer?

Yes, the Glass repair polish will remove micro scratches and also any original coating. You can restore this original coating (oleophobic layer) with our product Liquid Glass Sealer.
