It seems to be worsening but I cannot tell for sure. When I click the home button and some parts of the screen theres a clicking sound, however my phone is still fully functional.
Take it to an Apple store and they will know what to do to fix it.
Is the phone bent, which is causing the screen to the screen popping out? If not, Apple may be able to just reglue it. If not you would have to pay for a screen replacement. The screen assembly needs to be replaced. I would recommend getting it done ASAP since the movement of the screen can stretch the home button flex and rip it and there is no fix for that.
Well from what I observe I believe my phone is not bent at all, it just seems to be popping out. I hope the re-glueing is all that’s needed, I don’t want to pay so much. Is there a way to check if it’s bent or not?
To be fair, the popped up portion isn’t so bad to the point that I see an obvious space between the screen and the body, however when pressed on, it can be seen that it is not sticking to each other and can be pressed down upon.
What do you mean by screen assembly?
lay the phone on a flat surface (with the camera off the edge, as it sticks up slightly) and look between the surface and the back of the phone for a gap or if it rocks. Or use a known straightedge tool like a drafting triangle.
