visual studio for mac not seeing iPad connected through Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter

I am trying to debug my app that runs on iPad Air 2 in Visual Studio for Mac (Xamarin Studio), on MacBook Pro machine.

If my iPad is connected through the USB cable directly (without Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter), Visual Studio for Mac sees my iPad and I can debug.

However, if my iPad is connected through Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter, Visual Studio for Mac does not see my iPad. I am using iPad Air 2 with iOS 11.4.1

The camera adapter is this one:

The USB cable I use looks exactly like this one

If I use the Camera Adapter, then I dont see my iPad

If I dont use Camera adapter, I see my iPad

iPad Air Wi-Fi, iOS 11.4.1

Actually, I found solution to do wireless deployment and debugging

I think camera adapter support is going to have to be a non-debuggable feature. Design the app to use any camera, including the internal, at a high level. You can debug with that. Hopefully the camera adapter won't cause too many difficulties.
