IPAD charging indicator blinking repeatedly

When plugged into my MAC for an iTunes SYNC, my IPAD charging/battery indicator is blinking on and off. The result is it will not show as connected to iTunes. What is causing this and how can the problem be resolved? Thank you

Sounds like you have an intermittent connection. Possible causes include:

* bad/bent/worn Lightning-USB cable (try another cable)

* bad/bent/work USB port on your Mac (try another port or another Mac)

* bad/bent/worn/clogged Lightning port on the iPad (try cleaning out the port gently)

Hi

I haven't used pc for backup for iPhone / ipad for 4 years everything can be done over your wifi & iCloud.

Go to iCloud on ipad make sure iCloud back up is on Then backup now over your wifi

Leave iCloud backup on Then when you charge it will automatically backup to iCloud Over your wifi.

If you buy a new device or need to restore you always have iCloud backup.

Go to apple books download ios 11 user guide it.s Free.

Cheers
