Apple give back US & Europe?

I bought an Iphone for my brother in the US while I was on a business trip 2 years ago. He wants to trade it in and get a new one (and pay the necessary sum) the phone is in great condition and by the website he can get $150 for it.

Now as we live in Europe and our city doesnt have an apple store so we would have to drive to another one, is it possible to give back the old phone and pay the difference for a new one in Europe if the phone was bought in the US? Couldn't find any information regarding this matter on the website.

should not matter where it was purchased

check Trade in with Apple GiveBack - Apple (IE) . set it to your country, in most cases you can ship it to a 3rd party that does the recycling. The price you estimated may not be the final price.

I would say "yes you can", but I'm not completeley sure about that.

I suggest that you make a phone call to your most convenient Apple Store, explain your situation, and ask them about the "GiveBack" rules.
