I lost my my email address completely off of my iPhone and I haven’t been able to get it back is there any way you could tell me how I might be able to get it back

It sounds like the email account was removed from your iPhone Settings, i.e. where you set up your Yahoo account on your iPhone. Does that sound like the problem? If so, it would just be a matter of re-entering the account into the iPhone -- open Settings/ Accounts & Passwords and select the Yahoo! profile and start filling in the appropriate info.

If that's not it, maybe you can try to clarify once again what you mean by "lost completely off my iPhone".

Hi Wayne, OK so this is a straight forward Yahoo security issue.

Simply click the link underneath the validation screen you'll see after entering the password and click on "I don't have access to that phone", or similar and you should be able to get an e-mail to your back up e-mail address that Willa llow you to reset your password.

Go to settings>passwords and accounts and if it is not there, add it.

This has nothing to do with iOS, an iPhone or anything to do with an Apple product.

If you‘re using two factor login with your Yahoo account and did not keep your account information up to date, then you need to contact Yahoo support about that. Neither Apple, nor anyone here can do anything about correcting erroneous information with your Yahoo account.

Since you won't or can't clearly explain exactly what happened beyond, "i lost it completely" which unfortunately does not tell me anything at all about where you normally saw it, what apps you were using etc...

Indeed, this now appears to be an issue with Yahoo's own login.

You would need to work with Yahoo's support to get access to your account back.

What exactly do you mean by lost?

Are you saying you can no longer get email from it in the mail app?

Are you saying, you cannot see your email address in your contacts?

What exactly happened? Where was it lost from exactly?

Please do not post your email address in a public forum, where anyone can see it, unless you want tons of spam, and scam emails.

Again completely off your iPhone where? What App? You are not explaining enough for anyone to know what exactly happened.

Do you perhaps mean you were using the Yahoo Mail App, and it has disappeared from your iPhone?
