Toyota stereo “Error 05”?

When I plug my phone into the USB jack on my 2014 Toyota Sienna, the stereo display reads “Error 05”, and music won’t play. SOMETIMES, unplugging the phone and re-plugging it helps, but not always. SOMETIMES, when I switch to Bluetooth audio, it will play, but not always.

I’M NOT looking for a WORKAROUND, I’m looking for a FIX, or at least, for some info about what “Error 05“ means and why I’m always getting it.
