A few grains of sand got into the mute/unmute switch on my iphone and the switched ceased to function, effectively locking it on mute. Is there a way to unmute it in settings? If there is, I can’t find it.
There isn’t. You will need to take it in to an Apple Store or Authorized service provider and pay for a service replacement.

Now that’s just poor design. Apple just lost a customer.
Wait. You lied! I searched for it on the internet, and all you have to do is turn on assistive touch and go under device and press unmute. And it diesn’t cost a red cent.
Is there a way to mute/unmute an iphone without using the switch?
