Contacts on icloud not synching across devices and apps

Question

Added and edited contacts are not syncing across all my devices and apps from icloud:  Iphone, Ipad, macbook pro contacts and cardhop app on macbook.  As best I can tell, the following is happening:                    Appears in:     iphone          imac contacts          ipad          cardhopAdded From:iphone                                   YES               N                              Y               Yimac contacts                         N                    YES                         N               Yipad                                        Y                     N                              YES          Ncardhop                                  Y                    N                              Y               YESI believe all of them are configured to only have Icloud contacts and believe all have the most up to date OS.  This has been a problem for a while, I&#x27;m just getting around to figuring it out.  Thoughts welcome.  Thank you!

Try going to System Preferences/iCloud and stop syncing by unchecking the box. Wait a couple of minutes, then check syncing. Try Settings/Your Name/iCloud and slide off syncing. Wait a few minutes and then slide syncing on.Last resort - have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?

Eric - THANK YOU!  That appears to have worked.  Ended up signing out/in of icloud on my iphone and imac and didn&#x27;t have to go further - everything seems to be syncing properly.  Thank you very much.  Have a great weekend!

becky_s22Thank you for your response.  I have tried using that get help and believe I&#x27;ve worked through all the parameters and still it&#x27;s not resolving.  I believe I&#x27;m on the same apple ID, current software, cleared cache&#x27;s, etc etc.  and still the same problem.Went to icloud.com and there the contacts added by iphone and imac do not appear, but can see those added from ipad and cardhop. Would also like to add that when I shut off icloud contacts on my iphone, mac and ipad, the entire contact list disappears, so the contacts don&#x27;t seem to be coming from or going to some other contact list.Thoughts?  This is a stumper....and a problem!
