How do I image grab from my IPHONE 7 to my MAC if the image grabber only grabs a few and leaves the rest behind?

Do you mean thee Image Capture application by "Image Grabber"?

And is the system version in your signature "iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12.5)," current or did you recently upgrade to High Sierra?

You may not be able to see all photos on your iPhone when you connect it to a Mac for two possible reasons:

  • You cannot reimport photos from an iPhone, that have been synced to the iPhone using iTunes Photo Sync, because these photos are not in the camera roll.
  • You cannot import photos from the iPhone, if iCloud Photo Library is enabled with "Optimize Storage". Then many photos will only be optimized on the iPhone and not in the full resolution. You will need to force a download from iCloud by viewing the photos enlarged on the iPhone, before you can import them from the iPhone.

Have you been using iTunes Photo Sync or is iCloud Photo Library enabled on the iPhone? Check the Settings > Your Name > iCloud > Photos > iCloud Photo Library.
