Is WeChat msg backed up on iCloud backup as well?

Dear Sir

I have been using WeChat a lot lately and found out that the App itself does not provide a solid backup mechanism.

However, since I backup my phone using the iCloud, will my msg data on WeChat be backed up on iCloud in case I have to restore my phone to another device ?

are iMessages and texts with Android phones backedup in a manual iPhone backup to a PC? If you do NOT store your iMessages (or other text messages you may have from interactions with an Android) on iCloud does a backup of your iPhone on your PC also backup those text messages? The wording by apple on guidance seems unclear and obfuscating. Are text messages backed up to your PC if you do a manual back up?
