Can I use ddr3 pc3-12800 1x8g ram on my mbp 2010 15"?

I'm going to upgrade my mbp's ram to 8gb (currently my ram is 4gb) , But my one ram slot has been broken.
So I thought that I have to install 1x8g, and I found one seller that sells 12800 8gb ram on $50
I want to know that Can I install pc3-12800 on my mbp 2010 15"?

I found other posts, but there were no postings that I want to find.
So, I want to ask you.

Or if I can't install, are there some ways to fix it on operating system? or software? or sth? I can fix it by myself if I have some manuals but I don't have any.
