Facebook read-unread notifications

The blue dot badge notification for Facebook indicating a Notification is read or unread will not show as read on my ipad, though it shows as read on other devices, PC and iphone. This just started after the latest IOS upgrade on my ipad. Any idea how to change the notifications to indicate the post as read?

I reinstalled the app more than once. I restarted my iPad more than once. All the FB notifications settings are normal. I can access new notifications on all of my other devices and on my iPad if I use Safari instead of the FB app. is this a compatibility issue?

Facebook app notifications issues on my iPhone x Hi there! I have a problem with the Facebook app notifications on my iPhone x. Practically everything is on and up to date, but I did not receive any notification on my mobile from my Facebook account. The surprise was huge when this problem disappeared as long as I was logged on my girlfriend account! This means that somewhere between the desktop version and my iPhone something is wrong. Can you figure out what could gone wrong? I studied the settings through my laptop on my desktop version, everything appears to be ok. I really don't know what to do, do you have any idea? Please note that until September, when I upgrade from iPhone 6 to iPhone x, this issue did not appear. Thanks in advance! Dorin

iPad 6th Gen and Facebook issue Since last update from Apple, I cannot see my notifications on Facebook. I see them on my Samsung phone and on browser but not on Facebook via App. As it works ok on everything else can you suggest how to rectify please. I’ve rest my iPad and reinstalled Facebook but no luck This is what I get via Facebook app on my iPad. Any help would be appreciated

If this is with the facebook app and notifications on the app that aren’t working then it’s up to Facebook to fix it.

I also posted this on the Facebook community forum. Since this issue occurs only on the 2 ipads in my household and not on 2 Windows PCs and 2 iphones, I am asking the Apple community for support.
