When I import a clip to final cut pro there is no audio. When i open the clip using quicktime player it has the audio playing. Also when I click on the clip it doesn't show the audio wavelength sounds either. please help. This only happens to some clips I try to import and I already tried redownloading them it doesn't work.
The audio sample rate is 44.1KHz.
The usual standard for video is 48KHz, but that would hardly explain the total absence of audio. My guess is that this audio is encoded in some weird way.

What do these clips come from, and what are their settings - codec, audio sample rate? Open in Quicktime Player, press command-I, post a screenshot.
