I can't type 'nirmanaya' correctly on MS Word. See the image below (used 'Iskoola Potha' font).
However, it is shown well with the Sinhala Sangam font.
Please explain why. Is this an issue with the font? Which font is suitable?
Note: This problem wasn't there until recently.

Word support for Indic scripts can be flakey. If the Apple fonts are the only ones that work right, those are what you have to use.
Only MS can fix problems with their apps:

When you post there, it is vital you tell them which version of Word you are talking about, it makes a big difference.
Looks like an issue with word for mac. Get in touch with the word developers.
