Pasting text without Formatting

Hi,

I am sorry but I am not able to paste text without formatting or "Paste and Match Style". For powerpoint I am required to do tedious Command+Control+V and then select "Unformatted Text", while for gmail, I have to do Command+Shift+V. Command+Control+Shift+V isn't working for me at all. My MacOS is High Sierra.
