Cochlear implant Bluetooth question

I am a cochlear implant wearer with an iphone6. The manufacturer is Cochlear Americas. Currently, when the iphone rings, it automatically switches the implant to iphone program. How can I stop that? I don't care if the phone rings - won't automatically be answering it. Its distracting to be having a conversation and your implant switches to iphone mode - you lose sound.
