Unable to add payment details.

App store saying payment method is invalid. Was using the card as normal and even completed a purchase just 2 days back. Now unable to enter details and unable to update apps. No pending bills or renewed subscriptions. Also unable to update apps as it keeps asking to enter billing info before proceeding? How to proceed?
