Windows 10 install aborts on MacBook Pro 2018

This is my second attempt at posting to the board.

I have made several attempts to install Windows on 10.13.6 Updated on my new MacBook Pro.

The last attempt aborted after the Windows installation step with an error of being unable to update the boot sector. I disabled SIP and T2 boot limits, but that did not change.

Did this work for anybody? How?

WinClone also failed.

My colleague found a Windows 10 x64 version 1803 that works. Install Parallels and download a Windows 10 ISO using it, in other words, download the Parallels Windows 10 ISO. We used that ISO in Boot Camp on two separate MBP 2018 i9 successfully.

There is no partitioning error. Firstly i tried install with iso on external device. Other times moved iso file to mac then removed external drive before installation. Same error everytime. I tried to start mac with internet recovery, with disk utility done repartition then reinstall mac os. 🙂 Same error again at the end.

Got the same issue. Got two new MacBook Pro 2018 i9 for work and tried installing Windows 10 x64 version 1607 on both using Boot Camp but they all fail at the end saying they were unable to update the boot sectors.

We tried wiping the entire partitions and reinstalling OSX fresh but it didn't help.

I talked with someone at Apple Support and they created a support ticket after I reproduced the problem for them and collected data.
