email content not always displayed in mail program.

Greetings!

I have noticed today that some emails are not displaying any content and appear blank using the OS mail program I know they have content because they appear correctly on my iPhone. I have rebuilt the inbox; and checked with the same web based email and the content is displayed there. I much prefer to use the mail program rather than web based email. Any other suggestions welcomed.

I am running macOS Sierra.
